The first video was filmed in 1937 and it is a black-and-white video. It shows how the people in Sharjah were very simple in their life; even though they were poor and still hadn't discovered oil, they seemed happy; they lived in simpler times. The donkey was one of their hard travelling ways; also the camel. In 1932, the first airport was built by the British Government. It was the link between the eastern world and the western world at that time. This video has much interesting information about Sharjah ,as it had a population of 15,000, but today it has more than half a million people. I saw that the UAE wasn’t multicultural because most of the population are Arabs with some Indian and Iranian traders.

The second video is colored.  It shows some people dancing in Dubai airport. From this video we can see the big difference of multiculturalism in the UAE from the first airport in Sharjah in the past to now. The people are from different cultures in this video, but all were happy and interactive.
